Tiru's chronicle

Ramana color.jpg

Ramana Garden is deeply connected to Tiruvannamalai, its mythical montage Arunachala and the one who for us is its human representation, Ramana Maharshi. One way to maintain this link is to offer you a monthly column recounting aspects of life on the spot, at the ashram, in the streets of the city or somewhere in Tamil Nadu.

THE CHRONICLE OF TIRU

The life of the ashram is punctuated throughout the year by the richness of Indian mythology which offers so many opportunities to celebrate the divine, such as October 23, Saraswati day. The entire ashram received his blessing, both the places and the objects, from the workshops to the bookstore, from the vehicles to the tools.

In October, we also celebrated Navaratri (the 9 nights) with its ten-day festival evoking an episode from the Ramayana culminating in Durga's victory over evil. Here is a short photo report to share for all Ramana Garden puja lovers.
