At Ramana Garden, we love testimonials. Many have inspired and still inspire us and we believe that we are many to be nourished by them. This is why we want to offer them a privileged place by giving the floor to guests, anonymous or known, not to deliver a teaching, but simply to talk about their research, their discoveries, their difficulties, their achievements and their understandings.
If there is one guest who is particularly dear to us, it is Paul Vervisch. We owe him the discovery of Nisargadatta Maharaj, and that is no small thing! It is with deep gratitude that we wish to pay tribute to him here. He had the privilege of meeting Maharaj in 1980, in his famous mezzanine on Khetwadi Lane in Mumbai. Throughout his life, he remained deeply impregnated by Maharaj's presence and words, which he greatly contributed to disseminating in French through several books published by Les Deux Océans.
The evocation of his master always animated him with a tremendously contagious enthusiasm. We had filmed him in 2009 for a project which had then not succeeded. This is the first time that these pictures have been released publicly and we are very happy that they are now shared.
